Tatiana, Eugenie and Stavria took on the legendary Athens Marathon to raise funds for Alkionides UK. Their dedication reflects their deep commitment to the charity’s mission of supporting Cypriot patients receiving medical treatment in the UK.
Tatiana shared her personal motivation for running again, to improve on her previous time, and to raise vital funds for a cause very close to her heart.
Alkionides UK provides free accommodation, translation, transport and various forms of support through its ‘Nest’ in London. Since 2008, the charity has helped over 450 families, many requiring specialist or life-saving treatment unavailable in Cyprus.
Funds raised from this challenge directly support the charity’s work and its long-term vision of owning a permanent property to expand its services.
Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.
