Our ‘Nest’ has provided a wonderful and safe home-from-home for hundreds of families needing medical treatment in UK hospitals. Here are some of the comments and messages they have left in our guest book.

Heartfelt thanks to Alkionides for your hospitality, your warmth and your kindness. You do wonderful work, and you gave us a flawless and truly dignified stay, in good company, that made us feel at home from the very first moment.

Θα ήθελα να πω ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ στις Αλκυονίδες για όλη τη στήριξη που μου πρόσφεραν αυτό το διάστημα.
Το σπίτι εδώ στην Αγγλία ήταν για μένα κάτι παραπάνω από ένας χώρος διαμονής, και γι’ αυτό νιώθω πολύ ευγνώμων για τον χρόνο που έμεινα εδώ, αλλά και για τους ανθρώπους που με βοήθησαν ουσιαστικά σε κάθε δυσκολία που αντιμετώπισα.
Οι Αλκυονίδες επιτελούν ένα υπέροχο έργο και εύχομαι να συνεχίσουν να προσφέρουν με την ίδια αγάπη σε όσους το έχουν ανάγκη.

I would like to say a big thank you to Alkionides for all the support they gave me during this time.
For me, the house here in England was more than a place to stay, which is why I feel so grateful for the time I spent here, and for the people who truly helped me through every difficulty I faced.
Alkionides do wonderful work, and I hope they carry on giving with the same love to everyone who needs it.
