About this event
The Spring Lunch brought supporters together for a warm and uplifting afternoon at St Panteleimon Church Hall. Guests enjoyed wonderful food, great company, and a special performance by talented guitarist Constantinos Papachristophorou.
The event also included the presentation of two books:
• “Το Χερομόρα του Παλαιολόγου” by Kyriaki Papaleontiou-Demetriou
• “Poems by Costas Montis” compiled by Magda Christodoulidou
Both books were introduced by distinguished speakers, including the Consul General of Cyprus and Mr Theodoros Gotsis.
The event was lovingly dedicated to the memory of Georgia Polyviou, President of Alkionides Cyprus (2005–2021).
A Grand Raffle added to the excitement, and all proceeds supported the Alkionides UK ‘Nest’, which provides free accommodation and essential assistance to Cypriot patients receiving medical treatment in the UK.
